I got my new 2011 JK Today, but then it went pear shaped.

Flew over to Melbourne today and collected my new JK from Fletch.
Service was great, Fletch was great and the Jeep looked great. Photos will follow later.
Got as far as Pimpinio on the Western Highway, and the check engine light came on and it went into limp mode.
Managed to clear the light twice for about 5km but finally Jeep Assist sent the tow truck, and its being taken to Ballaratt, and I'm in a hotel in Horsham and collecting a hire car home tomorrow.
Jeep assist have been great, and have dealt with a very pissed off client in an efficient and friendly manner.

There were things I possibly could have done but with no tools, and no light (it got dark quickly) and looking around a very unfamiliar engine bay, made it pretty hard to do anything useful.

Great start to the day, but a shitty end

Stuffed if I know the problem.
Check engine light came on, and it went into limp mode - as simple (and frustrating) as that.

Anyone know anything about the skill level of the Ballarat dealer?

The good thing is that once they sort it, they (Jeep) will then deliver it back to to me in Adelaide.

If it went into limp mode, it usually means something pretty major has failed Hopefully they'll have it all sorted out for you soon.
