That‘s a little bit odd statement, Adrian.
Can you calculate the driveshaft torque and put into relation of the existing components?

I can…
So… what is your answer? I do like people making a statement which they can‘t prove.

Is this a pissing contest?
Because if it is, can you also calculate deflection when driving the gears on the coast side?

I'm not fond of the high horse attitude

Adrian too right.. Deezelweazel still hasn't realised this thread isn't about front diffs and front diff lockers and is here to show us how big his internet c$ck is! Congratulations to him!

Deezelweazel you are just like one of those people in the workplace that thinks they are irreplaceable because they know a few things and can act like they know everything. Everyone hates them and eventually even if they do know something they get sidelined. Except I don't think you don't know much based on your garbled off topic replies, or at the very least I don't think you really understand English. There are plenty of people out there who will help without being an ahole. Go find somewhere else to hang out, or at the very least get off my threads!

So Adrian did you break the front or rear diff in that? If rear that is of interest

Well not to upstage anyone here, with knoledge or not, I have had arb lockers front and rear in all of my jeeps, xj,tj,zj,wj. I also regeared nearly all and always ran bigger than 31s on all. Never had a problem with diffs in any. Now i've got a wj with an auto locker rear and truetrac front, about to regear to run 33s. I do love my hard core offroading, so long as you don't use the right foot flat you don't have trouble, locked or not. My other jeep is a wk2, it only goes so far offroad, more for towing touring with the camper.

The rear locker started leaking, it fixed itself once back on flat ground though. Never leaked after that either but the department of finance approved the purchase of a truss and beefy cover right after the ravine ordeal

The truss install was very straight-forward, I got one from ironman4x4fab from the US and did everything with the axle under the car in a narrow garage. Just take your time welding. Biggest issue was ordering longer bolts for the A-arm.

I remember the report of a guy from down-under that broke a carrier cap attempting to climb a slippery ledge. Lunchbox locker, car slid back under power and *freedom noises*. That's gonna happen with a full-case locker or a lunchbox.

You can also modify the varilok pressure relief valve for more holding pressure.

The R&P is stout, the housing flex is the problem and there are solutions for that.

You didn't break them because you don't know how to calculate the torque

I didn't break any because i let the car do what it has to do, let it walk under minimum revs and over any obstacle. And i've had my cars in some very tight places, the grands have put wranglers to shame. I've owned 2 jk's, 1 had about 4'' lift on 35s regeared with arb lockers. I should have kept that 1 but the tow weight was the problem, hence back to a grand that can tow and go where i want it to go, in comfort with style.
