What sort of steel are you using to make the chassis brackets from?

Anyone that has only joined this thread since the start of September would have missed out on all the photos at the start of the build. I had the pictures hosted on Facebook but they changed all the thread links when they went to the new large thumbnail format. So have spent the last couple of days re-linking over 400 photos so any new followers can see the progression.

Had planned to build one of those a while ago and might still. Can't use that one as too small for my press though. Just keep wanting to continue on with the build rather than take some time from it to make it.

Brackets made from scratch are from the 4mm mild steel plate that the frame rail boxing was cut from. The donor ones are 2 to 2.5mm high tensile steel.
