Tried RSVP after my divorce. I met a number of nice ladies, dated for a while then they moved on....their expectations and mine didn't seem to mix well.....I found an unrealistic expectation was a common theme. (picture Mills & Boon book cover artwork)

Met my new wife through an introduction by a friend, no internet involved.

Really? I've always pictured you standing at the helm with a ripped shirt, bulging muscles and long flowing blonde hair.

Best of luck AG. As the other boys have said, finding one that is not just compromising by living your lifestyle, but rather is actively seeking that lifestyle is the key.

An older bloke I work with has a Thai girl overseas that he's been attached to for five or six years. Got engaged recently, but he wants her to come here and live/work on a visa for six months before they do the marriage thing. Mostly because when he's over there for a five weeks a year it's all cheap shopping/eating out/lying on the beach on holiday. A taste of reality might see her run for the hills or move on to another punter on her list.

X2 I last time I tried this I gave it up after a few months. Like you say I think chicks are expecting to find Mr Universe, not Mr average AG......

AG, might be a good idea to do a search or what ever to see what local blokes are also looking. Always good to know what the competition is.
