While I'm waiting for the minister for finance and home office to clear funding for lockers; I've gone ahead on a smaller budget with a OBD2 bluetooth adapter (ebay $15) and purchased DashCommand from Palmer Performance ($50). When the items arrive I'll look at using my HTC phone as the monitor. At the moment I'm interested in Trans temp and code resetting but I'll see where it goes.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...now if you signed up for whole blood you might stand a chance from the war office
I am saving the pennies for a new GC diesel - meanwhile I will continue to crick my neck everytime one goes past - seriously nice piece of gear for the mighty lap
Good luck with the mods!

I got an ebay item but only the paper weight function worked. After a refund I got a bluetooth one from scantool.net bundled with software called ScanXL. Out is very good. I'm using 'Toque' on my android.

Yes I thought I'd hear about torque but it wasn't available for the HD2, I looked for weeks. At $4.95 I have friends who are using torque on iphones. I'm hoping the professional software has wider capabilities as its the only one on windows 6.5. It is good to hear that this is a realistic option to scangauges (@$175).
