Default Ebay Winnings

Hi!

Been looking for a thrash about 4 wheeler for when I move up to our newly acquired 5 acre block in the "hills" of WA.

Didn't really want to spend heaps of cash on something as it was just to thrash to the bottom of the lot and back up, moving a few small things along the way. So - figured ebay would be a great place to start.

Stuffing around the other day, bid on a 4 wheeler (P.O.S Chinese thing) for $1085.... and won the bloody thing (couldn't believe it)... figured, might as well keep it since I will need a cheapy anyhow.

Then - my folks decided that just having the one is ok, but two is way better... and bid on another one (not a cheapy chinese one). 1 bid for the entire duration of the "auction" and we won that thing too. So - we have now spent in excess of $5k on 4wheelers, when we really only wanted one.

Just wondering if anyone else has had experiences like this with ebay. where you are the only bidder or something is won ridiculously easy....

Don't want to put a downer on it Wallace but be bloody careful on the 4 wheelers ,if you come unstuck on them you can't get away & they tend to land on you . I know of 3 people killed on them in western Qld so far this year .
