No help in the States. The Merc part number doest exist & the jeep number has been on back order for Months. When i sent a photo of the valve, they said it was not the same anyway. I turns out it's a part made by Merc for the Jeep engine only.
Same prob in Aus, every where on back order & $$$$$$$.
So back to Horsham Car Center in the UK. Order yesterday, due into their shop Wednesday, hopefully to me by early next week. $610.00 AU including delivery.
These boys are great. I would recommend them any day of the week.

EGR valved arrived for England today, installed it & YAHOO. No lightning bolt. Car is running like a charm. So if you get symptoms as described in this thread, get the EGR valve checked first. It's a easy test done by the scan tool. You can actuate the valve while the engine idles. if the valve opens, the engine will drop in revs or stall. if it revs don't change, valve not opening. I still can't explain the original throttle position codes, but when reading other threads about EGR issues, allot of dealerships replace the throttle senor first.
Again guys, Horsham Car Center. From order to delivery in under 10 days, over Easter, & $1300 cheaper than my local dealership.
Thanks for everyones input.
