I found an answer to all that ... I bought an 80 Series cruiser ... now I'm finding I can revisit the last 14 years of 4WD Action / 4WD Monthly mags and am getting more value than I ever got the first time around !

I must admit I have owned 4 pajeros before seeing the light - and I have never had a problem with them, they were always well built, designed to be maintained, parts readily available (normal diesel oil) etc. My new JK I love to death - but since I bought it 12-18 months ago, I have had drama with the stereo, seatbelts, oil leaks on both diffs, the Service guys did not refil the rear diff with oil and it seized (as you would expect), and the oil cooler leaking, some air intake sensor problem, and the lights on the electric windows going out (which was replaced but the knob that controls air temp put back on wrong now I dont get hot air. I till have some problem with loosing power when the turbo boost plateaus. I have had plastic bits fall off my baby but nothing that cannot be chucked. I notice the rear doors flex when you open them. I just never had those issues with the paj. But hey - you cant rip the top of the Paj.

Yes we fixed the nissan, to get it HOME!

Obviously they didnt want to fork out for transport to get from hill end, back to the dealer in Sydney.

Guessing that the clip never stopped it from driving back to the dealer in 2wd, there was no real urgency to fix?

I remember reading on this site a guy got his new jeep home put it in 4wd and couldn't get it out (leaver not working) So next day jeep on tilt tray back to the shop . Not everyone can fix jeep problems. Should not have broken.A?

I Subscribed but no more. I found some of the tests especially some on the DVD laughable, they were just pathetic. A Nissan and Cruiser Comparo- Dead Heat! (surprise surprise)
And one with Milo, A Disco & LWB JK which was total shite the way they reported it, a Joke Test really.
And did you get the latest DVD of Milo in Tassie with those two young guys, ha ha man that was a waste of footage. Made me Laugh though.

But what through me off them is there just so over the top with sales! deals, buy this crap item get 6 month subscription tripe. My Inbox is full of it!

My Subscription was running out and i had full intensions of renewing it, then came the phone call. Some yank trying to get me to re-subscribe for 2 years and this super special deal just for me, oh really, COME ON!
I mean ive had lots of magazine subscriptions over the years but i have never gotten that before from any Magazine.

It just made me think A) There to pushy and to interested in profits, B) there magazines not that good so they have to resort to hard sell tactics,
Either way i hung up on him! Wrote an email to 4WD Action with a letter of complaint.

To there defense they did reply with an apology but i said i still wont subscribe, howerver if i see an article i want to read in the newsagent i will buy it, my choice, no Pressure!!!
