HOW MUCH ARE YOU CHARGING FOR A SPOT ON THIS VIC EXPEDITION?
Seriously though Ace TJ's suggestion is good but these places are small in comparison to the high country. Unfortunately with so much of the HC burnt out it is unsafe to venture out without adequate supplies and tools.(Chainsaws, winch etc) So trips a little closer to home might have to be the go. Camping is still great in these places though.
Cheers

Thanks for your suggestions guys - I'll definately look into them all!
re 'unsafe' - we will have all the supplies we need (Chainsaws, big PTO winch (on 351ci dodge), hand winches, snatchem straps etc etc). that's what we'll be after... I just hope their not all closed

yeah, most of the "big" extreme trips tracks are closed at the moment cause of fires, buthcer country, knobs track, the deep creek tracks etc. and as PK said prob will be closed cause of fallen trees. and seasonial closers.???

but you could just stay in melb are head out to labertouche one day, neerim another, whats left of tollangi and another. from what i have heard, you can get some good deer out at neerim, but there is a "dog hunting season", you can only take dogs some months of the year, not to sure on this though because i dont hunt.

Sounds like you'd have enough gear to open any "closed tracks" anyway Cambo! LOL
