Nice Lift, looks like a 3" at the front with a nice level look. I am also after the 4" lift, but will wait till after my Simpson trip but before the Cape York trip.

thanks mate
it rides a hell of alot better
the old bilsteins were shagged the top of the shockie the collar had removed itself from the body of the strut
and wasn't doing much dampening the springs had sagged about as far as they could
it has almost bed in and when i place a level on the roof racks it's 3mm higher at the front i wanted the racks to be flat as i will be using this for our roof top camper when we do the cape next year in the variety qld 4x4 club bash so with a little more bedding it should sit exactly level
the measurements before lift was 490mm from centre of hub to edge of wheel arch
now it is 578mmfront measurement
i should mentioned that i have H/D top strut mounts aswell which give approx .5 - 1" of lift aswell over the stock ones
i am pretty happy with it all so far just have to do a retighten on the front end as it has made a little bit of room from bedding in and has a lite rattle or it could just be lower control arm bushes which looked ok when i fitted the lift but i'm sure i will nut it out

Cool XH lift???

GO"ARD - I have a stock '07 Commander and I want to put some sort of lift kit under it. I have been surfing the web for ages but still dont know whether to go the whole hog with the full on kit (struts, shocks and coils) or whether to try the spacers first. It has 90000kms on it too. Where did you get yours done and what sort of money did you have to pay? I can get a kit through Stu at Murchisons in Brissy for around $1400 delivered to my front door and I've been quoted $400 to install by TJM. What are your thoughts? Appreciate any info/advice you can offer. Cheers.

Hey guys, I took my exhaust off between the catalytic converters & ran the engine & it still sounded the same as if it had the full system on. No note at all. I think the turbo must drown it out. In case anyone is wondering, i was checking for a blocked cat.
