Default After Market Exhaust

About 3 or 4 times now in a month I have had codes 0426 and 2084 come up (one is the CAT the other exhaust temp). Next time I stop I clear the codes and when I restart all is good but I'm thinking it might be an excuse to fit an aftermarket exhaust. Does anyone have one and if so where from and were there any associated issues with the ECU? I know Murchisons used to do one but they only do it in house now (don't make and ship anymore) which means I would need a week in Brisbane, so looking for other options.

If anyone actually has any advice on these 2 codes that would be usefull too.

Cheers

Cookies of Wynnum in Brissy did mine for about $700 in a 3'' system and a nice compact low resistance muffler but I did delete the DPF and left the old catalytic converter in place. I left it with them for 1/2 a day.

Thanks for the info Multi. I thought they used to be a few on here that had an aftermarket exhaust but they must not be around anymore, it appears theres nothin in NSW.
Your seems like a pssoibilty but I'm thinking if the code means I need a new CAT then getting a new OEM Cat + an aftermarket exhaust will probably work out really expensive. Do you have to get annual cehcks done for your rego in QLD? I'm wondering if taking out the DPF would result in failing the emissions check they do.

No there's no annual safety checks here in Banana Land. The job they did on my exhaust replacement was very neat, I asked them to keep the new exhaust system high so it would hit any rocks etc. There's no dents or scraps on it after 6 months.
The 2 pressure pipes for the DFP are disconnected and are tucked up and cable tied off but you could always get 2 holes drilled into the new exhaust with the mounting nut welded in place so it looks like the pipes are doing something. This would fool the inspectors.
I could have got a high flow cat for about another $400 but the mechanic was having trouble getting up into the tight location to undo the old one.
