You know why these cables are cheaper?

It's f...in CCA cable. Not worth a penny. Looks "good", and is okay for short time use. Real copper cable is heavy as hell.

Well all I know is I bought mine years ago (15yrs) and the copper is thick as hell and very heavy and real copper... may be newer stuff is not the same quality. Have used these cable (older ones) in JKU, caravan and camper trailer with no problem over 15 or more years. What does CCA mean please?

Thanks Jason and everyone. I think I go for the 180 Amp Alternator. I dont mind the error. And I think it is enough anyway.

Copper cladded aluminium

Looks like copper cable, but is just copper coated to disguise.
Chinese invention to trick people.

It generates a code but no CEL so I'm OK with it as I know what it is.

Cool, a 0702 would make otherwise very nervous. As it is related to the tranny. A CEL is here a problem. You wouldn't pass safety inspection.

All in all P0702 should not be as scary to DIYers as is used to be 7-8 years ago, before the work of Kaido.
