Default Commander Bull Bar campaign

As you know there's a lot of us looking for a Bull Bar that complies to the Australian Standards. J&J make a custom built one but it's a bit too chucky for my liking. Then there's ECB that are now making a Bar for the new Grand Cherokee: http://www.ecb.com.au/model/Cherokee.htm

I think it looks pretty good, what are your thoughts?
I phone ECB and they have a registry for all enquiries and he said if and when they get enough interest they'll consider making a Bar for the Commander. I'd also like an option to add a winch.

So if anyone is interested please contact ECB in Clontarf Brisbane and make sure they register your interest on their database. http://www.ecb.com.au/infopage/contact.htm

And as Wanderer has quoted on the Snorkel thread:
"Come on Aussie Aftermarket...We need one. The numbers got the snorkel going so let's get their ear. ECB is a probably a good place to start the campaign"

If Jeep are going to continue the Commander to 2016 one would think E.C.B, A.R.B and T.J.M would be interested in selling a bullbar. It is not a cheap 4x4 therefore most people who own one, would be interested in buying a well designed bullbar.

Does anyone know whether the J&J bar is ADR approved? ABT (a sponsor of this site) have also offered to make me a custom one.
I just worry that by the time someone makes a mass produced one, I'll have got rid of the car, cause I'm starting to worry about the amount of breakages going on, and we've only got warranty to 200,000kms (another 2 years). I just don't know if I could afford to keep the car once its out of warranty.

Hi Wanderer. With the E.C.B bar all the ADR tests for the Grand Cherokee should cover the requirements for the Commander as their running gear and air bag deployment mechanism is the same for both vehicles. Even the mounting brackets should be identicle I would have thought.
