Not trying to be nasty, but you might get more responses if you move these questions to a general forum space. You do realise this is in the KJ Forum, and I don't recall a single KJ with a rear bar in Australia. Yes anyone can read this thread but few will look in the KJ forum unless they recognise something in the title that interests them and their model.

Rear is completely different to front. Then the questions are mostly around any integrated tow bar.

If you do a search about it in here you will find that someone ask the question already and found a guy that would fabricate them as seen on Lost. However the required minimum of 3 rear bars wasn't meet and by memory it was still quite expensive hence none were made sadly. Even for a rear bar some sort of ADR rules apply.

Thanks for that guys. I've been burying my head in the regs trying to decipher the rules on legally lifting my wj. The plan is to put front and rear bars on and was looking forward to fabbing my own, but I hadn't looked into thelegalities of it yet. I noticed this thread on the forum index so thought I'd take a look.
I've since had a good look at the vsb14 and vsi8(vicroads), and in their entries on bull bars not a mention is made of rear bars. Thats a good point that you make, wooders, on integrated tow hitches. I'll look into that, but I'm sure it'll prove easier to design my bar around the existing hitch.
Thanks gents. I've never ventured into this part of the forum before, but the hospitality is appreciated
