Thanks Wanderer...I did some searching on the wheel speed sensor back ealier and thought that was tied to the ABS warning???

Being so intermittent it makes me think (with my limited knowledge) electrics somewhere....bloody frustrating though that I can'thave the confidence to go offroad knowing that I will LO if I need it.

I just had the L/H front Wheel Speed Sensor start to play up over the last few weeks. Every time I drove through the local shopping centre and bumped over the speed traps it would go off with a chime and "service $wd System" but no code appeared. Finally a code started to appear stating which WPS in was. I finally changed it today and all is good.
It's been a very common issue with my Commander but it's easily fixed at a very low cost. The expensive part is buying myself beers after the job has been done.

So what is the verdict on the last N23 flash.

Is it seen as a fix or do I stick with pulling fuse 25?

Hey 08CRD been a while since we spoke...As you know I had some issues with my WK2 and eventually had them rectified but FCA customer care sucks in that unless you know someone in the hierarchy then you most likely can't get past the receptionist..They must have had numerous complaints because I've just received correspondence nearly 2 years latter..I won't post the full email but this is the interesting part

"We have undertaken to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to offer to review certain past complaints, to ensure that we handled them in a manner consistent with our obligations under the applicable consumer laws, being the Australian Consumer Law or the comparable provisions of the law which applied before the commencement of the Australian Consumer Law. We have offered this undertaking following the ACCC’s investigation into our handling of consumer guarantee complaints"

They also say they'll be sending me a questionnaire soon..Can hardly wait

Mate I'd get up them about the N23 flash.

Pull the fuse it takes 30 seconds. That's far less time and stress than driving to your incompetent dealership mechanics. The new "P" flash has also had some issues too.

I have a new transfer case motor & I still get the C140F code on occasions. This I assume would disable low range even if I had the new update.

Luckily for me I have an un-flashed FDCM that registers the code but still allows low range to work.

I had the N23 Flash and could not get rid of the Service 4WD message even with the fuse trick, had it flashed to the new update and now working 100% fine.
