destroyed my yoke on sunday giving car a hard time again

done the 9 inch u bolt conversion, installed a new yoke and new unis too

also broke both front uni joints trying to winch a mate out of a deep bog hole

idiot mistake turnned wheels sideways to stop me from sliding in (nothing to anchor off) and running 10 psi in my bead locked rims the tyre was like molding over the rim and it just went pop

happy to know i have few spare dana 35s around just stock ones till i get some chromoly axles or a 44 up front and only took all of half hour to pull 2 complete axles and hub assemblies out and bang em back in the xj, could of done it on the tracks easy enough

ive put axles from a 1996 xj, apparently the unis are stonger? they looked bigger, not sure if i was imagining it.

see how we go!

oficially on the hunt for a ford 8.8 for the rear so the dana 35 with arb locker 4.1s is for sale...

Will be same colour and same wheels
Fuel tank is gone. Need a water tank somewhere...
Roof rack will probably resemble an exo cage and hold roof tent.

Will start a thread for this next week.

This excites me. I've always loved the idea.
