Default Stuck on a stump

Here's a way to check out the under side of your Commander, just drive up onto a tree stump.

Thanks Gojeep..The Cape Melville Track part took 10 hrs to do 120km so pretty stuffed when we got to camp. Here are some pics from my recent Tassie trip to do the Balfour Track..Only a bit over 16km but a 3 hr drive. Plenty of water so definitely snorkel and also winch recommended. Didn't need the mate's winch so lucky or the MaxTrax...QuadraDrive earned it's keep working overtime to make me look good...Great 4x4 system.

We didn't do the Balfour track when down there as were on our own and towing a camper trailer. Only had a hand winch too. Was in a really bad state at the time with the last guy getting stuck for three days. Did heaps of other tracks down there though and had a ball.

Yep we did a few as well...Hmmmmm....Second Balfour pic down on left doesn't tell the whole story.. Me going around cautiously with the grass areas to the left very boggy & soft enough to sink to the knees but mate in front sunk his rig in the hole with water flowing throught the cab..We snatched him out backwards with volumes of putrid back ooze pouring out..really stank..Lucky to get around it without winching but only just.

Guess this is why the sign reads:
