I just was messing with you guys...
The radio shown is capable to play DSD (lossless).
Once you have heard the capabilities of a good radio or better say "set-up" including amps and speakers you never want to go back. Even if the WJ/WG isn't one of the quietest cars, it does have some capabilities in enjoying music.
Dynamic response in conjunction with an aftermarket amplifier(s) is fantastic. Road noise? Not really-there is no need to turn up the volume to get a crisp and clear music signal.
Adding a harddrive(SSD) is very convenient in conjunction with your phone. so never run out of tunes. I had choosen Blue Tooth to mess with you. In fact it is one of the worst inputs-I do call it "commerical grade".
Trust me, you can hear the difference with ease, and on long boring "on-road" travels it makes it so much more enjoyable- not to have "bleeding" ears.
The factory stuff is really bad. It is a joke from Jeep to call it Premium Package. You have paid Premium- but what you got in the end of the day is lowest level compared with standard aftermarket stuff. If you look inside the so called amp, you will find some integrated TDA operational amplifier, so called power cookie with a whopping output of about 40W of power.
Really? It was the first thing I have thrown in the electric recycle trash can.
