75w90 is correct. this rating is an SAE measure for gear oils, not to be confused with the SAE measures for engine oils, they are completely different, a bit like measuring in millimeters then meters
its not just oil viscosity at play here, but also the co-efficient of friction between the moving arts (synchros) that the oil has to accomodate and Reline is good with this aspect
yes, as you mentioned earlier it maybe warm in in Queensland, but it doesnt reach 80 deg C which is a typical transmission temperature after running for a period of time, a lot warmer than a "hot" 40 C air temperature, in machinery terms that's cold. another thing Redline is very good with, stability over a wide viscosity range
