[QUOTE=Fud;1201913]Some pics from today, first time I've had it in the mud and rocks. Really really impressed with it's performance. Quadradrive II is amazing.

Good to see another Commander driver going bush. They handle the rough stuff with ease. Try disconnecting the rear sway bar and they handle the wombat holes and wash outs even better. You can go heaps more extreme and the Commander won't miss a beat.
Great shots and well done!

Thanks Mate, I was really surprised how well the big girl went.

Can't disconnect the rear sway bar at the moment as I have fitted the longer shocks from the 4" superlift kit. If I disconnect now the rear springs lift off and end up in interesting positions but the sway bar links do a top job of limiting the down travel.

Really really really want to find and easy way to disconnect the massive front sway bar to get the IFS to move a bit. Thought about trying to adapt a JK rubi disco to fit our sway bar but that plan has only gone as far as a thought.

I wouldn't disconnect the front sway bar unless you have aftermarket H/D ball joints coupled to aftermarket upper control arms. When you lift a Commander or late model Grand the top ball joints ends up on an extreme angle and once you disconnect the sway bar the angle is too great and you can snap off the top ball joint and be stuck in the bush.
I've fitted Jeepin By Al Upper Control Arms that have Hummer H1 ball joints. Indestructible!

I've got the HD upper arms, not the ones JBA (although they are amazing), these ones

Wouldn't the struts limit downtravel once it is disconnected?
