Default Cherokee Club Australia

The Cherokee Club Australia invites Australian Jeep Club Members to attend our Easter Jeep Safari which will take place over the Easter Long Weekend. The event is part of the promotional activities of the Melbourne Jeep Owners Club for the National Jeep Jamboree Victoria 2004 which will be held between the 1st and 4th of October 2004 (for details visit www.jeepjamboree.com.au).

Participants Members of Australian Jeep Clubs are all welcome to attend.
Limit of 40 vehicles.

Location Information : WEC Camp Centre, Nentoura Road, Morisset 2264

Associated Costs

Registration - $100 per vehicle
Cost is now $20 per adult and $10 per child (3-13 years).
Admission includes camping facilities, toilets, showers, marquee, 2 BBQs, chairs and tables. Spit Roast will be held on the Sunday evening and will need to be paid with Registration.

Trips
Trips will be conducted on the Saturday and Sunday to some of the following locations:
* Watagan Mountains
* Stockton Beach ($5 beach permit will need to be purchased on the day)
* Hunter Valley including wineries
* Wollombi Pub
* Matthews Valley

Advance bookings essential. Numbers are filling fast so get in early and avoid being disappointed.

Folks

There is one alteration to the above as follows:

After the title "Associated Costs" you need to include the following:

"The costs below are approx costs and are indicative only."

I am working closely with the Cherokee Club of Australia to keep the costs as low as possible. As soon as we have definitive costs we will get back to you. However, it would be good if you could register your interest by eMailing me on news@jeepjamboree.com.au or Cherokee@4wdNSW.org. We will also publish a registration form in the next fortnight so all of you coming will have exact costs, etc....

I am a bit confused about the ratings for the trips for the Jamboree. The Registration form makes reference to B grage trips yet there are no B grade trips on the Jamboree Web site.

Can somone official (PK) confirm that:

if we haven't registered for the Show and Shine, we can still go on the drive through the town with those that have and park on the oval for the record attempt.

I mean it would be crazy if this wan't the case, but I am just checking

bt - i'm not official, but I was at a jambo c'tee meeting this week and i think they're hoping for all 250 cars to attend the show and shine- but pk will confirm
