Default Temps

Well, slow steep windy driving and towing under 70klm/h and mine heats up to between 80 - 90 C. ... AFTER the cooler.

80-90 isnt that bad. 70 is preferred if i have my figures correct so really not too bad at all considering its during towing

whats wrong with it? 80° is pretty fine- at least to mil specs. Don't forget: too cold does also increase wear. 80° is "the operating temperature"

Good- no, excellent work- Rodgebone!

Im with the others regards your temps under those conditions ....

Hows your your normal driving temps by comparison. ???

Gotta remember too ..... radiators and oil coolers are heat exchangers ... not refridgerators.

The hotter stuff goes in ... the hotter it comes out .... but at a percentage lowered, cooled temp, compared to the inlet temp.

And no more funny noises!

Seriously - That looks the goods. Think I will have to get of my backside sometime and do a cooler. Preferrably before I finish the neverending trailer!
