Located in The Gap, Brisbane. My business is purely home based and I have a close friend who does my fabbing. He's a genius and loves doing it. This is what we produced in 2 days for a Jeep Dealership here in Brisbane. It is not Airbag Tested but it is ADR Design Legal. Im investigating the costs involved in Airbag Compliancing at the moment as i've been asked to do them for the whole CURRENT Jeep range.

Design would be similar to something more aggressive / rock bar like that you'd see in the States, something that looks tough and is functional.

I've got to do the KJ & KK Rock Rails before I do another front bar though.

Hi there Wanderer, of course thats fine.

I really like the Commanders, so much so that I nearly bought one around 4 months ago trading in the KJ as our family is growing, however the wife refused to drive "A large box" ha! We had one for the weekend and I loved it, she couldnd see over the bonnet too well mind you!

I really like that AEV style winch mount setup. Its quite appealing. Who did that Computer rendering?

Now we're on the right track, the bar by Murchison Products of Brisbane looks great and if we can get something shaped like the aftermarket winch bar similar to the one in your photo from Sth Africa that would be fantastic. I'd still like to see some form of unobtrusive tube work to help protect the car from incoming Roos or exploding bush chooks (Emu's)

Any news on the Airbag Compliance test?

I'll be interested in a steel bulbar, if it is airbag compatible.

I just emailed Gomad to ask for a price for the front winch bar and rear steel bumper with tyre carrier. The prices on their web site are very cheap because of the exchange rate. All we need to do is work out a reasonable shipping rate ex Sth Africa. I'm contacting my shipping agent to get an idea on what it will cost for 1 or 4 units.

The gomad4x4 one looks tops. Great intergration to the sides.

Is it me or does that white one look a bit old school Landcruisererish? (like a modern day 55 or 60 series? lol!)
