DTT up front
All,
I've had one since '05. You do feel it, and the tighter you try and turn the more the steering wheel resists. Also makes for hideous noises when 4WD full time is employed and you are trying to turn when parking.
Nowadays, I just use 4WD part time or full time in the wet (depends HOW wet) as I've learnt the hard way that the KJ will break traction, uphill, in the wet and in traffic!
One interesting little thing I've found helpful is that if you go back to 2WD, reversing the car about 10 metres seems to get rid of any "wind up" or the feeling the front diff is still torque sensing.
