I did the loom repair at 80000km with a mopar kit from rock auto and it worked fine up to 150000km when the sensor died.
New genuine sensor was around $40 from rock auto.

Nothing is to tricky for a home diy for someone with basic mechanical abilities and a soldering iron.

Hi Cal, how did you access the sensor on the passenger side, do you need to remove the battery box or manifold?
Any help would be awesome.

All that's been done. It is currently in the shop (under warranty) to fix. They just called me and they are planning to:
1. remove timing covers
2. check oil galley bolts
3. replace camshaft position sensors
4. replace oil pump
5. check that timing is correct (apparently Jeep changed timing chain etc. according to service records. Not sure why at 50k)

Fingers crossed.

Limaynard, there's no need to change the timing chain at all on the 3.6 until it stretches and throws 1/2 the codes you've posted.

What MY year is yours? Have a look at the last 8 digits of your VIN number.
CL is MY12, DL is MY13, EL is MY14, FL is MY15 and so on.

Some of the MY12 and MY13 vehicles had cylinder head issues that caused similar problems but I'd hazard a guess that the oil pump is stuck on the HP setting.

If the Cam Pos Sensors fail it'll run rougher than anything and will hardly idle as well as having no power.

The bolts can back themselves out and cause the issue and it often manifests with a P0340 code.

And if the timing isn't correct it'll have no power at anytime.

The car runs fine. It is MY15. I reckon it is the oil galley bolts. The mechanic has had it for 2 weeks now to do all of the above. I hope that it fixes it.

The timing chain should not have stretched at 57k
The timing is fine as performance is fine but I think it is potentially a waste of time.

For the benefit of everyone who may be having similar issues, I will post progress.

The mechanic has pulled it all apart and swears that the timing is out on both cylinder heads (I am sceptical)

He also says that there is an issue with the oil pump but he hasn't said what the issue is.

He is confident that this will fix the issue...

I doubt I'll get the Jeep back this week (or even this year)

Well interesting this post was one of the first I saw in the threads after being away from this forum for some time now.... I had this camshaft position sensor B Bank 1 issue as well on and off and its only when I drive the car hahaha usually what sets it off is a rough bit of road... I cleaned the connectors and it fixed it for a while, however its come back with vengeance.... I get it now all day everyday So i pulled the sensors and cleaned them and the connectors wiring seems fine... lets hope the drive home this afternoon is smooth and P0369 free...
