Smile Front drive shaft FULL replacement

Hi all hope you can help

I am after a replacement front drive shaft for a 2007 WH jeep grand Cherokee diesel as mine has been damaged beyond just being able to replace the CV again. I had CV replaced at CV shop and it has lasted about a month due to diff bushes being worn. The spline/teeth/grooves on the end of the shaft are damaged beyond repair so am looking for a new/used one please. (Note it needs to suit the diesel engine)

I have ordered the polyurethane bush set from jeeperf.com and hopefully they will be successful and last the life of the jeep.

thanks for your time.

As per my pm

Try
http://www.poly4x4.com.au/ in Vic
or
http://www.j-p-r.com/ in QLD
or
http://www.eddywreckers.com/ in SA. I have got parts from these guys before.

A new one from Jeep is $1200 & a custom one with uni's instead of CV's is around $1300

A few tricks I use on eBay & gumtree to find what I'm after is:
Search Grandcherokee (no gap)
Phone the wreakers that show complete cars & ask if they have the part.

I do recall seeing exchange ones when I was looking but I cant find the link anymore

Ring Many at Poly4X4 in Melbourne and get a low K second hand one he is probably the closest and best to you

My WHGC has 300,000 on it at 196,000, I did the front shaft CV and the tail shaft had really stiff uni's priced new oem had to buy a complete shaft or go custom nearly fainted
I bought one from a low K car of the QLD Jeep guys at hervey bay was $250 including shipping but you are in WA thats a long way from QLD by truck

Jeep Parts Recyclers, Hervey bay Qld. They say they are the largest Jeep recycler in Aust and their freight is very reasonable and quick.
