Thanks, I'll try them next time.
In reference to my point about Rolls Royce hoses being cheaper I priced them up just then. I can get a top AND bottom hose for a Silver Shadow freighted from England Airmail to my local post office (less than 7 days delivery)for the same price as the one Jeep hose, OR a bottom hose for a 1996 Rolls with airmail delivery from England and enough left over for a quiet dinner for two.
How do Jeep manage to justify the price of this part????

Just make sure your sitting down if you have to replace the front hub because the bearing is stuffed, $335 was the price last time I checked, I love my Jeep but they sure can charge.

Found the site I was looking for /www.suburbanimports.com.au/jeepparts.htm has bottom hose for GC $75 and the top one at $34 worth a look.

Thanks for that link, I'll check with them next time I need something.
I can see value in a $330.00 hub assy, but have a lot of trouble figuring out why a rubber hose would cost $158.00 (especially when the same Ford part costs $25.00).

i had to pay $400 for a set of rear brake pads when my 96 was new,
now there about 90 - 100 aftermarket
