Default Grand Cherokee Spares

Anyone know a source of cheaper spares for a 1996 Grand Cherokee. I am looking for a bottom radiator hose and have been unable to find one at Repco or Coventrys. Dealer price $158.00.
I can buy the same hose for a Rolls Royce cheaper!!!!

Angry Grand Cherokee spares

I've had a look on eBay, I buy a lot of gear that way for my other cars but never thought a Jeep was so exotic I'd have to source parts worldwide for it.
As a matter of interest the same part in the US is less than US$10, plus shipping.
This means that even with airmail I would still be paying around AU$50-$60 for the hose delivered to my local post office.
Makes me wonder why the price difference in OZ.
Remind me not to buy another Jeep!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Jeep Grand Cherokee Parts

Ah, well that's the 64 million dollar question.
I guess with no aftermarket competition in Australia Jeep are just charging what they like.
Just ordered top and bottom hoses from the US, total cost US47.33 with express delivery.
Even if I get charged 100% customs duty on the parts I am still well ahead.

When I went to Auto one I'm sure they had the Grand hoses listed, I was after a hose for the XJ. They had to order it in but it was $49.95 for the top XJ hose, you'd expect the ZJ to be about the same price.

Cheers
