You may be right as the code I downloaded was set to "F" so I just changed it to "C". I'm now reading up on what other codes may need to be changed.
170F = 76C

Just did a 30 kms mixed run, with about 12 kms on motorway. A couple of long hills. Trans temp stayed between 70/80C once warmed up.

Mine came with an external trans cooler from the factory, in front of the radiator.

F to C conversion formula is (°F**- 32) x 5/9 = °C

Can you add that to the equation and get converted value?

You are correct Kiwi Jeeper, go to the top of the class, Thx.
I've just been testing it over the last few days. Here's a screen shot with the setup but you also need to ensure your "Units" under Settings are also set to Celsius.
I now have it up and running on my 2011 JK Rubicon running on a Samsung tablet as well working on a Samsung phone.

Great. Wish other transmission problems were so easy to fix.

What reading are you getting now. Log them before cooler install, and see what difference that makes.

In Brissy to day on the cars temp gauge it was between 31c - 33c on the roads driving around the suburbs. The Trans warmed to about 70c and them as I crawled through stop start traffic and lights etc it rose to around 88c but did peak at about 92c at one stage. The trans cooler goes in tomorrow then a filter change and new fully synthetic fluid.

Which Trans hose should I tap into? The one that send send fluid out of the radiator or the one before it enters the radiator. My thought was the one that send s fluid out of the radiator before it returns to the tranny.
Also which is which? EG. the top hose or the bottom hose?
