Default Squeaky wheel?

I seem to be getting a squeal from the left rear wheel. Only, (so far), when going around right curves.

I had a look at the brakes & they are all ok. (Pads & linings all replaced relatively recently.) No signs of anything rubbing anywhere.

I'm starting to think that maybe the bearings are on the way out. Has anyone had to replace, or at least regrease, rear wheel bearings?

Is it a continuous squeal or an intermittent squeak as the tyre rotates? The bearing never get greased because it sits within the axle tubes and is lubricated by the diff oil. Check your diff oil level. it should be filled to the height of the diff filler plug.
Or it maybe the disc pad has worn and you are hearing the noise of the pad's wear indicator touching the disc warning you that you need to replace the rear pads.

Sounds more likely a bent axle shaft. Jack the wheel up, take it off and check the run out on the axle flange with a dial indicator.

Rear wheel bearing is an easy change. Pull out the axle, cut off old bearing with a grinder, then pound the new bearing and collar on with a big hammer and piece of 2'' water pipe. Or, use a press if you have one.

I get this same noise from the same activity - usually notice it on left merging intersections or long sweeping left hand bends. I'd be interested to know what's going on too. Mine is only an intermittent chirp on left turns in line with wheel rotation. I'm thinking maybe a bent rotor or something to do with the crappy park brake drums.

I was thinking brake, or the disc shield on the inside. But the pads are all still good (5+mm on them), as are the new drum linings (2-3mm).

It only does it, like NTRubicon said, on sweeping curves. It sounds rotational, like something rubbing on the shield, but I couldn't see any signs of anything rubbing anywhere. And why would it only do it on right curves?

I'll check the diff levels, as they certainly show signs of leaking, but not enough that I would think the level is low. Have to get some good sealant for the hats.

I did notice that the boot on the rear sway bar link was torn, though. But while I have heard rattles from the front ones when they were loose, or squeaks from body roll, that isn't the sound I'm hearing. It's too regular when I can hear it.

Have a look at the clips on which pads sit. They can get out of the seat and lightly touch the rotors.
