No troubles with RCVs after nearly 80,000km. Moderately (ab)used but I tread more carefully Offroad these days. I've regreased them every 6-12 months.

Have outlived the flimsy D44 housing, even with above mentioned reinforcements.

Lack of outer seal solution remains a concern, but mine haven't missed a beat apart from one plastic boot cracking.

Nothing against decent aftermarket cromos & U joints but I'd probably go RCVs again.

Well I'm not sure which way to go then because the advice is about 50/50 so far.
What about the G2 axle housing Truss Kit. It looks like an easy way to beef up the housing but I was also considering adding an outer sleeve and reinforcing the C brackets.
