I pulled the injectors out with the fuel rail (leaving the clips on the injectors to hold them into the fuel rail), turned ignition to on and could see the fuel dripping out of the dud injector

No, difficult start hot or cold. Have fitted a new fuel cap and will see how that goes. Have been talking to an old skool mechanic about and he's fairly certain it won't be leaking. Injectors as the car runs as normal once started. A leaky injector would cause the car to run rough. Fitted the new cap before leaving work, car started quicker for whatever reason. No fuel smell on the way home either. Fingers crossed it works.

Shall do.
I added the leaf to the existing "sport" pack that had sagged at bit. I expect it all to settle a bit, but it has lifted it 1.5-2 inches atm.

I had to take the side steps off to get the spring bolts out, and am now wondering whether i should put them back on or not.
I might have to so my 6 year old son can climb in, as the back now sits at 20" from the centre of the wheel cap to the flares! I am going to have to space up the front coils an inch at least to level it up.
On the bright side it means that i am going to be able to throw 30's under it soon.
And i can't believe how QUIET it is without all the noise from that old diff! It's incredible!

I know, right?
BTW Steve, when you put the 30 inch mud tyres underneath to go off road, do your factory side steps interfere with them?
I am trying to work out whether to put mine back on, or not. I might take the end caps off and cut an inch off each end, and then put them back on.
But it feels like a long way up in the air now, and i don't think my 6 year old will make it into the back seat without them! (considering he struggled before!)

Nah the side steps and tyres never get to know each other, the side steps do get aquainted with the terrain on occassions though...

Well, I found the problem with my XJ. My dad suggested I may have a possible vacuum leak from my brake booster and to try starting the jeep without my foot on the brake, as I usually do. Tried this last nite, car started straightaway, turned it off waited 30 seconds, started instantly again. Woohoo!!! So the booster must have a leak internally and would explain where I'm getting a fuelly smell from as it sits infront of me. Brakes are still working normally and will be fitting another booster next week from the donor jeep, Moby Dick.
