just had the greendiesel engineering tune installed in my ecu. don't have the figures for it yet but if it's similar to the one in the kj then i have about an extra 50nm of torque from 1800 to 3500 rpm. all i know is that there is a great pulsing hunk of metal under the bonnet at idle and it just pulls like a tractor right off idle. from 1400 there is a really strong pull and over 1600 the performance is unbelievable. i have the 07 with 4.21 diffs and putting the foot in at 1600 in top started an experience i had no idea these engines were capable of. from a noticibly stronger start it just kept buiding as the revs built up. seemingly couple of seconds later i looked down at the speedo to see the needle rocketing through 140 and by the time that had sunk in and i managed to lift my foot it was heading through 150 and still going hard, bloody hell this thing really moves out now. almost scary. apparent ly there is a huge torque boost between 1800 and 3500 rpm but i could feel something pretty urgent happening right off idle. this is a software mod. installed in the ecu. it gives an increased torque figure over a much wider rev range, switches off the egr valve and improves fuel economy. don't know by how much yet, but after agood blat round and the previously mentioned hard acceleration run the dash still showed an average 11l/100. better than before and i suspect under normal driving conditions it would be much better still. so it could be worth a look for anyone wanting a full software upgrade eco and performance tune. mine incidentally is only a mild tune. apparently the blokes who do it will be over here from the states at the next jamboree to have a look at a few vehicles and get a range of tunes going as there are no export model diesels in the states. mine is just a trial tune. took them 4 attempts to get it running, but it is their first one in the jk and all done by late night emails and trial software loads with a flash tool till at was right. anyone interested give them an email. it really works.
