Question Stone chips?

Hey
I'm coming from an X-Trail to a rubi and on the trail we had a bonnet protector that judging by the cracks in it did some serious protection, I notice the jk bonnets don't often have protection, what's the story has anyone had any trouble with stone chips or shouldn't I worry?

Cheers
Danny

i think some are always inevitable, i personally dont worry as its a fourbie and take it off road so its bound to get some damage.
At the end of the day mate its upto you and if they bug you then put a bonnet protector on there...personal choice really

you can get a bonnet protector through the dealer or try to get them to throw one your way with the deal.

Nah, rocks miss the bonnet and head straight for the windshield. You do get a few chips in the plastic grill, but nothing to cry to mum about, as said above its a 4wd. If your worried about stone chips look out for the bush pin stripping.

So far the rocks have all attacked my grille, intercooler, windscreen and even the bonnet hinges.

Nothing has attacked the leading edge like most other vehicles.....YET.
