Default Sye & rear upper control arms

Hi,

I was just wondering when doing a sye conversion on a tj do you have to have adjustable upper control arms to correct the angle of the pinion with the driveshaft.

iv got a sye and dec shaft in mine atm with stock rear upper control arms

my pinion angle isnt not correct there for you need to buy the adjustible arms to correct this angle eliminating rear driveline vibs!

so to answer your question yes you need rear upper ADJ control arms to go with the sye and dec shaft

just get a 1" transfer case drop...how much lift do you have? i also have a transfercase drop for sale if your interested!!

you wont need the transfercase drop and rear upper control arms just yet

the link below is a kit that i have, comes with the sye and dc shaft, i got it delivered for 500bucks too my door, and they are both top quality in my opinion.

and you cant save some cash by installing it yourself, heaps of diy's out there, even a video on youtube

ummmmm i guess you could hey, but you might aswell do it properly and get the sye and dc shaft!

there are a few ways to correct pinion angle

step 1 : 1" transfercase drop
step 2 : motor mount lift
step 3 " sye and dc shaft with rear upper adj control arms

now if you combined the motor mount lift and transfercase drop technically your getting about 2"s back so if your lifted 2"s then it kinda balances itself out!

i havent heard of anyone doing the rear upper control arms with a transfercase drop to be honest.....if your willing to spend about 325 for control arms then you might aswell just buy the sye and dc shaft for 500bucks then save a bit more and get the arms

but i understand if you dont have the cash, i recommend do the transfercase drop and motor mount lift as they are both in-exspensive then later on you can get the sye/dc/control arms
