Unhappy "Sore head"

This week the bonnet fell on my head, and there bloody heavy...lol
We tried to get replacement bonnet cylinders locally in the shops but size didn't quite match, in one case not allowing the it to close...so we rang Jeep at Prospect SA...$186 "each"... thanks to an article on this site, I now realise I can get them on e-bay...lol "shocked" "rolls eyes"

G'day mate, sorry to hear about your head.
You can get some cheep replacments for the struts but be carefull some don't last.
There are places that repair struts and provide a 12 month warranty. Check your local contacts.

Also I hope you know you posted this in the Jeep XJ forum section.
(not that we mind).

Good luck with it.

Cheers

And one other very important part, make sure they are installed correctly, I have seen 'em new from the factory incorrectly installed.
The correct way is piston down....
