I broke in once using wire with a hook on the end, slip it down the window near the door handle end. you will have to feel around a bit, there is a little arm in there that you can hook onto, pull up on it. do it on the passenger side front door, and try not to scratch the glass.

A new quarter window cost 1/3 of what NRMA wanted to open it. Hitting the Jeep with a hammer after all the greif its giving me was strangely satisfying.
