Default M.A.F. Sensor

I am getting the 0108 code (MAF sensor over voltage) and have been looking for a new one and can't find it, only a air temp sensor and a throttle position sensor. My question is; Is the air temp sensor and the MAF sensor one and the same thing or are they different things altogether?
Regards Ross
PS its on the KJ 3.7

When I used to own "public transport" opps I mean a holden... they used to take them out and do a "maf less" tune... not sure if you can do that on a jeep etc???

Just an thought...

They are not the same thing on the KJ CRD, can't say for sure on the petrol. Cmohr would probably know. Morris 4x4 shows a MAP sensor for the 3.7 plus a temperature sensor. Have a look here:

http://www.jeep4x4center.com/sensors/jeep-liberty.htm

What year is it Ross? I'll check my parts fiche.

I'm back. Parts Fiche shows these sensors for the V6 petrol engine:

1 04606093AC SENSOR, Detonation
2 56044180AC SENSOR, Crankshaft Position
3 56041018AC SENSOR, MAP
4 56027873 SENSOR, Coolant Temperature
5 56027873 SENSOR, Throttle Position,
6 56041584AF SENSOR, Camshaft
7 04606487AB SENSOR, Charge Air Temp

Now I should point out that those are from the 2007 KJ Parts Fiche so I don't know if they are correct for earlier years.

Hope that helps

Thats pretty much what I found at Morris and Rockauto, MAP=manifold absolute pressure. ATS= air temp sensor and TPS= throttle position sensor,
No mention of a MAF=mas air flow sensor which the code 0108 is telling me.

I'd be tempted to just reset the code and see if it comes back, unless it's there all the time. As with all sensor related codes, checking the battery voltage is a good starting point.
