Default Where to get HD standard coils?

I want to get a set of heavy duty standard height coils for my JK 4 door. Im heading across Googs track in SA plus a few other places in about a month and I have been told that the standard coils are not going to be up to the job of carrying about 300kgs of camping gear and stuff.

Where can I get factory height heavy duty coils from? what would i be looking at paying? I was just going to do the rear pair.

Cheers,
Ryan

king springs make a HD stock height replacement coil for the JK but I believe they need to be made to order. most people simply lift them.

I also believe Lovells make a HD stock height coil for the JK. But noone here likes lovells coils.

If you only want to compensate for the extra weight without lifting it I would be looking at either Polyair or Firestone airbags in the rear. A complete kit costs less than $300.

Lovells only does raised springs for JK according to their catalog.

Default Standard height coils

heavy Duty Standard height coils are generally standard height when loaded, so unloaded they will still be lifted and firm. I agree that with 300kg in the rear, you will need new heavy duty coils and airbags.

Airbags that fit inside your coils & support the load are definately the go. You get a comfortable ride around town between trips at 5 lb minimum air pressure. Inflated you get load carrying ability when you stack the truck up with gear.

I ran Polyairs in the Patrol for 18 years & have just got Coil-rite bags fitted to the rear coils of the JK.
