Default Airbag light

hi guys, i tired doing a search for this and didn't uncover anything, as of yesterday morning my airbag light, the one with the person in sitting in a seat with the circle in front of his face, has started coming on with a chime then disappearing for a couple of minutes then back on again with a chime, this is happening non stop since yesterday morning and just wanted to ask if anyone knew what was going on.

Cheers

So whereabouts is the clock spring located and how would i go about replacing it via other means than the dealership? Or i definitely have to take it to them?

Sounds like clockspring problem to me but I am no expert. If u have a way to find error codes like superchips etc then u can find whats wrong here http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...r+codes&page=4 . If its under warranty take it to the stealership and ask them to fix it.... If not under warranty see ur mechanic..... As for parts probably u will be better off importing or getting someone like Wooders to get it for you than going to stealership.....
