Just wondering if anyone know what this pipe is for. Tried to trace where it comes from and it disapears behind the engine and goes towards the Traansmission area!!!

Looks like a transmission/tcase breather.

one way air valve /breather they use them on diffs too my old cruiser has them mounted up high for the diffs to go through water
