Default 6spd CRD on 4:88 & 33's?? Anyone running this setup?

As title suggests...

Curious on thoughts before i bite the bullet... Anyone running this setup?
Happy? Sad? Has it improved road drivability in 6th gear & takeoff? Any
noticable difference on fuel?

I plan on running 35's in the future, but hoping i will be happy in the mean time on the 33's??

Me either... & i know the CRD is a fair bit different to the Petrol. Charts are available for the Petrol but not CRD so looking for real life examples.

If you are going for the 33s, 3.73 are just about adequate, 4.10 better. The max I would go would be 4.56 with 35s. 4.1 are still good though. It depends on what you plan to use your rig for. I run 3.73 with 33s. I am happy with them, my jk mainly for touring purposes. my revs are 2250 at 110kms/hr which is acceptable. its a personal preference but with 4.88 the revs are going to be too high. Remember its a torque diesel not a petrol

I'm interested, as I have a V6 man on 33's with 3.21 diffs. I really want a better ratio, but was just thinking of going to 4.1 or maybe 4.56...

Somewhere, there is a big chart with revs at 70mph in each ratio vs tyre size, but my search fu is weak.

SAME!!! i know some brainiac had a chart or calculator. I need to calculate rpm at 100-110kph based on 4.56 & 4.88 & 33" or 35" tyres.

Id like to be sitting around 2000rpm at 100kph ish??

I was set on 4.56 as an alrounder, but a cheap set of 4.88 has shown itself so thought i'd do the sums & see if viable.

from what i have read , 4.88 are best for 35s and suitable for 37s, but way to high for 33s.
