Default Clutch fan delete plus ac delete ?

Ok so ive just added a 16 inch electric fan instead of the clutch fan, and everything seems fine.Ive still got the pulley there for the moment so the belt is still running its original course.Im wanting to take the next couple of steps and just wondering if anybody out there has deleted the fan pulley and the ac compressor? Im wanting to go o little more comp orientated with the car,so aircon is high on the ditch list.
Anyone deleted both and know a feasable way of running the belt.? It would seem a shorter belt would be the go,just not sure which one and what path to take?
Cheers

You need to work out a belt path that gives enough contact between the belt and the pulleys, I have had to do a fair bit on mine due to the twin electric fan mod and now using the 96- alternator mount I wan't happy with the alternate paths that I found on the net so I worked out what belt I needed by using an old one and marking it with chalk.
I also marked arrows on all the pulleys to make it easier to ensure the rotation was correct, I ended up using a belt from a 300c diesel but I still have aircon....

It should be pretty easy to do....

Keep the air con for a continuous air set up?

yep went this path a couple of years ago, i followed go-jeeps instructions, works well

i have the new electric fan and the a/c fan inter connected so they both cut in at the same time, i have them coming on when the temp needle gets a little over half on the gauge, in normal highway running (Brisbane) the temp gauge sits just under half way on the gauge

great to get rid of that great howling lump of metal, the car is quieter revs quicker and all in all sounds happier, ive pulled boats and all sorts of stuff with out any over heat issues.

probably the only time it comes on while driving is in loose sand, or at traffic lights where it will cycle on and off depending on the length of time sitting idling

oh, the original belt still worked just re-routed as go-jeep described,

Thanks again but,im still looking for a way to NOT run the air commpressor. As in remove it completely from the "circuit " so to speak....I think ill just take off the AC
run the same, path without the two and work out how much shorter the bellt will be then go shopping....Someone must have deleted the aircon out there....
