Is this kit designed for a RHD vehicle because at that height you are going to need a panhard rod at least....

JJ is right the panhard rod wont suit if it comes with one... But I dont think they do.

Your going to need something to bring your diff back into line. I'm using Ruff Country's drop bracket and works well with the 3" kit I just installed but for 4.5" Im guessing you will need a aftermarket adjustable one and Id also look into Wooders chassis drop bracket so you dont have your panhard rod ball joint binding up at full droop. Also you will need longer brake lines, you might get away with dropping the brackets to get a little more length.

I didn't have any vibes at 3" but apparently its very common on 3.5 and higher so expect to have to do a TC drop or SYE. Ruff Country recommends the SYE and Drive shaft upgrade.

I found all Ruff Country's gear to be good quality and rides beautifully on the road.

Good luck with it

I cancelled the panhard that come with the kit but ordered a drop bracket for the three inch kit and i'll have to get an adjustable panhard from somewhere. The brakelines come with the kit and the leaf are full leaves. It has a transfer drop kit but i'm not sure about the pitman arm wether i'll have to change that. But by the sounds of it everything covered thanks peeps everyone being very helpful!!! Check the kit out on ebay, type 4.5 lift xj in search. I reckon i'm on a good thing.

At $1400 dont forget to add the GST and import duties that will get put on it as soon as it hits Australian customs. You'll have to pay those before it will get released. It'll be ($1400+5% duty)+10% GST so around $1617 total or an extra $217 before you can get it sent out from customs.

Cheers
Steve

I got close to 5" lift, very similar to rough country lift, adjustable front arms and all that, I don't have sye or pit arm or the front stabilizer, all that is STD, the car drives good with no vibrations, although with a super flex kit brake lines are a must.
How much did you pay for post, and where from?
