Default TJ: Sonts

Hi Guys. ive been a member on here for a while now and have been pretty active asking questions and getting involved. I thought its probably time for me to start a build thread as it will make it a lot easier to ask questions and get advice if everyone knows what im talking about.

I have a 2005 auto TJ. it had 80k on the clock when i bought it with 2inch OME lift, 33s, Dick Cepek alloys, ARB bar, busted Warn 9k winch, K&N air intake, hard top, soft top and custom guards.

Since i have had it i've done a few things to it:
1 inch spring packers (was only supposed to be temporary)
removed all carpet after a particularly deep water crossing and replaced with rubber matting
Sway bar disconnects
Body armor safari doors
Sony head unit, infinity splits front, pioneer 3 ways in the sound bar and a pioneer low pro 10inch sub, ute box and amp
UHF
Tigerz 11 12k winch and plasma rope
removed the rear tire carrier and spare
3 core copper/brass radiator
fully replaced rear drum components
Bunnings garden edging guards

thats about all i can think of at the moment
this is how it sits now

things that i have on the way and will be going in over the next month, providing it all arrives in good time:
Smitty built front bar
4.56 ratios
ARB lockers front and back
Cromo Axles front and back
SYE
DC rear drive shaft

Pending the arrival of the lockers i have decided to build an overhead compartment that i can install switches in and free up the dash area. i am putting the UHF and Sony head unit in it as well. its still being put together so ill post some picks once its completed. i now have free space in the dash and am considering fiberglassing in an ipad mount. obviously security is a concern as well as durability off road.

there are lots more things i would like to, and am planning on doing to it but they are day dreams for the moment. ill get to them further down the track once this next batch of installs is completed.

Im open to comments, criticism or questions. im still learning as i go as well so appreciate all the help i can get.

yes mate! why? you wanna buy em? haha
they are just a stop gap at the moment. the checker plate looked cool but limited articulation and i was concerned i would damage a body panel if i hooked them on something. i will get some flat flares but at this point the 500 bucks is better spent on other things. im pretty happy with the garden flares for what they cost though!

Haha yeah I had an idea it came from that area. Full log book came with it with plenty of stamps. Not the biggest fan of the previous owners taste in music though. Found a few cd's under the carpet. Some of the tunes were shockers!

My SYE and tail shaft went in on the weekend thanks to SHT50. The difference to the ride is absolutely incredible! everything is so much smoother and controlled now!

Next up is figuring how to get all of this, underneath.
