Default bumpy when towing

just bought a camper trailer at 750 kg I was realy surprised at how bad it made the car ride, very bouncy even on the highway over smooth roads.I drive a two door petrol jk. Any thoughts?

Yeah, u have too much weight towards the back of the trailer maybe. If its too light on the front, it will lift the tow point. I have a very light camper, trailer 170 kg, camper on top with inner spring queen, about 100 kg. about 20 kg other gear and 60 lt water tank. I barely feel it behind my 2 door petrol manual. 6th is pretty much out with 33's

it was unloaded would taller tyres help? i think they are just a large normal car size

I'm running 14 inch road tyres from my old hyundai accent on mine. I have an aluminium box trailer on a steel chassis with slipper springs and sprung over axle..... Tyres on the trailer are at 26 psi. Today I used it to bring 400kgs of laminate flooring in it and I loaded it towards the back and made the rear of the car bounce heaps, that's why I assumed a weight distribution....
