Default electronic stability control

hi guys went 4x4 today in a bit of mud couple of hills and a few bumps
now the electronic stability control light came on once i was back on road so lucky their was a car wash nearby washed up and the light went off.
now its back and it wont turn off i checked the underside and all looks okay i gave it another clean just to be sure any suggestions? tried letting it sit for a few hours and still lights on..
quick edit i also noticed the steering wheel is about 10-25o to the right.. could that be the problem??

Yes mate. If the steerring wheel is not strait them you will have probs with your stability control. Make sure you have not bent anything first. Then straiten the steering (easy to do just google it) and all will be good again.

Most definitely this is your problem.
It doesn't take much to bend the stock draglink, just a minor bend will do what you have there. Fortunately it is just a matter of adjusting it. The problem is you can only do that so many times before you run out of adjustment.

You will get used to adjusting it... eventually you will get worried when a few trips go by and you havnt needed to do it.

Recentre the steering wheel and if light still on then most likely mud on or around sensors and just need a good clean. Not uncommon
