Default Gauge pod

Taking Glens advice, I've ordered a Prosport Temp gauge & boost gauge and will install these once the GDE goes in.

Does anyone know if these fit the 07 model?

Thanks
Kris

Nice choice in gauges. Check out my thread on installing the boost gauge - you will need to drill into and tap the intake body (or find another source of pressure). There is some care (and a couple of tricks) required there to make sure that you don't drop shards of aluminium into the intake body, where it could foul a valve seat, or find its way into a cylinder.

BTW personally, I find the EGR gauge (installed pre-turbo in the exhaust manifold) much more useful than the boost gauge. I pretty much drive to the EGR. It allows you to balance performance and economy as well as seeing the heat effect that fueling has on the cooling system, and it aids turbo cool down.

Sure the Liberty ones will fit the 07 but only on the left hand (passenger side) A-pillar.

I have looked high and low for a right hand drive A-pillar pod for the KJ and have had no luck - other than trying to mod one made for another vehicle.

Let us know if you find one.

hey Glen, ill let me brother work out where to plug it but make take the intake body as you said.

I mainly want it just to monitor the boost to ensure its doing what its meant to do!

Sounds like ill be outta luck on the pod - any other ideas on where to install them? Would the temp gauge fit into the transmission shifter area?

Look through this thread:
