I recently purchased a spare key with the transponder chip in it. Anybody live around ormeau area who has the gear to program it? I only have one working key and im trying to get a spare sorted. Im happy to pay you for your time in currency/alchohol.

I think only a dealer can do it. I don't even think the snap on units can program these keys. There is actually an access code you need before you can program these keys to the SKIM unit.
there is a bloke on at carrara on the gold coast who does them,he done one for me last weekend.he is a good bloke and does cheap work on them also.
he told me which key to buy cause he said alot dont work on the aussie jeeps,mine worked and im very happy.

i just rang him and he said no worries to put it on the forum.tim is his name and his number is 0431753718 he is a qualified jeep mechanic and thats all he has worked on.he knows his stuff and is a really nice bloke and his rates are very good.
