Default LED as Reversing Lights

Accidentally just bought 2 x small 15w LED lights in a 45° beam for a really good price (fiddling with a sniping program....), so since I can never see behind when reversing was thinking of sticking them on the back as reversing/work lights.

Anyone used these new single LED 15 watt ones? They are about 2.5 x 2.5 inch. Thinking of mounting them on the number plate bracket in the spare wheel, facing out at 45° - comments?

Get one of those telescoping poles and you can use them as either reversing lights or camp area lights.

That's what I've done with mine.

Default Reversing LEDS

I went with "Ugly as sin/ Bright as the Sun/ Effective as hell". Tried backing a loaded trailer in the dark once........just once. Next mod? Lights. Lotsa lights. That & ET got the chop.

Ooops. Wired mine into the fog lights harness with the ARB bar making them redundant.

I have a very similar (round) 15w LED on a telescopic pole with switch on a-pillar and switch on pole.

Great for reversing up to trailer or as camp light.

Very impressed with the output.

I got this 4 x LED from Blackjackwelding and mounted it to the rear bumper on my TJ.

I disconnected the rear fog light and used the wiring. Don't know if that's possible on a JK though.

I used to have a normal halogen spotlight mounted back there. The LED light kicks it's arse.

Great idea except you really only want one. You should give the other one to me!
